| Comments: Inspired by an enemy character in Madoh Oh Granzort, whom also reminded me of Da Vinci for some reason. Niro went through two designs, personally I liked him with a halo and a piece of rag, while it may demonstrate some freshness, design wise that's just laziness all over. Had to go with the safer rout that's also somewhat more fun to draw. HIs reference was mainly 18th century costumes..hopefully that doesn't make him look "out of time" :P. I've always wanted to do a character whose ability is to attack with instant drawings. Lastly, he was meant to be a character with the most moves. All it took was an art history textbook :D. His name and design may feel like Netero from Hunter X Hunter, no connection there. - Max |
