Project Tempest was initially started around 1999, based on some of the character sets I did back in middle school, and is now revived in the year of 2008.

Games such as Street Fighter 2 and World Heroes had much influence on this project. The characters mainly followed a similar concept: tributes to characters with strong cultural identification.
