| KID Functions: |
|
1) Radar System (duh): Detects other Kazahana within a short range of 200 meters. It shows Kazahana as a differently coloured dot, or the dots according to the user's input. Also marked out in special color of pulsating dot are the "most wanted" Kazahanas (ie those who have broken the rules); the users are indicated to kill them RIGHT AWAY before they break the rules again.
2) Kazahana Profile Database: The KID is acting as a remote server and connected to some central database through a wireless connection, rather than just having the entire database in the KID itself. For one thing, it'd be easier to update: rather than having to update all the profile databases in all the KIDs, one can just update the central database and voila! All KIDs updated. All the users get a list of battle participant names. The profiles of the names are only activated when that particular person is detected under the user's radar at least once. Once a profile is activated, the user could have the freedom to tag them under categories and they will show in particular color of dots under the radar sytem. Details under the character profile includes a headshot, official name, and gender. 3) Manually-Activated Explosion: Upon a Judge's command, a KID unit will explode. Used to keep the KID out of the hands of the regular public, and (possibly) to execute Kazahana who have broken the rules (or at least..... those stupid enough to be still holding onto their KIDs even after knowing about the explosive device. Then again, maybe that function will be kept as a secret from the competitors.... >.>). TO BE USED AS A LAST RESORT ONLY. Explosive deaths are messy deaths and harder to explain away than stab, bludgeon or gunshot wounds or falls from a very high place. 4) MP3 Player: ..... Hey, why not? XD 5) Updates To The Central Database: A Judge-only function that allows them to remotely update a Kazahana's profile in the field. Specifically used to mark Kazahana who have broken the rules, but may also be used as a means of confirming if a certain Kazahana is dead (see point 4 below in regards to automatic/manual detection of Kazahana death). Once the Judge has logged in his changes to a Kazahana's profile, it is processed (by a person? or automatically?) and the changes will be made on the central Kazahana profile databases, which will then show up on all the KIDs. 6. Video Conefrence: KID also allows the user to have video chatting with another person on his contact list (click and play). The lense of the camera can be extended from the back of the KID for this purpose. |
